“Amazing experience”
Sharon and Friends, USA
Three friends and I were in Siem Reap for 4 days. Our hotel offered a cooking class & a village farm tour and we chose to go with this option. BEST DECISION WE EVER MADE! They were super accommodating for our vegan friend, responded quickly to our e-mails and picked us up at the hotel. On top of that the location of the cooking class was BEAUTIFUL with herb gardens and butterflies all around. Our guide expert, Mr. Barang, took us through the villages with their organic farms, basket-weaving, monk blessings and other farm activities which made for a very enjoyable experience.
Our tour guide and chef were wonderful and patient. The ingredients were fresh and the dishes we made were easy enough that we could try making them at home, and were so flavorful. Overall this was such a fantastic way to meet new people, enjoy the culture and traditions, and eat amazing food!

“Delicious food and Community Support”

The cooking class and village farm tour was informative and engaging and all the staff had a great sense of humor. I learnt all about the ingredients from how they grew them and how to use them. The class was super fun and the food delicious, and I got to make it myself! The monk blessing was amazing as was this beautiful village!!!

“Authentic Cambodia Farm Experience”

We spent such a memorable day, cooking with a great bunch of people! The two staff were very professional, good fun and very knowledgeable about their surroundings and ingredients used but then they use them on a daily basis. We visited a local family weaving baskets to see how and what they do for their family. Walking around the village was great fun!!! I also enjoyed tremendously all of the farm activities. I totally recommend this and want to say thank you to both staff and the family who we shared a beautifully cooked meal with, in a stunning setting.

My wife and I had a great morning doing this farm tour. It was really interesting visiting a local family to see how they live and learning about their organic garden. The setup of the class was fantastic, a little oasis in stunning countryside. We loved the walking around the village, seeing the weaving, talking to the villagers and doing some fishing and farming. It could not be better. And Monk blessings, wow!!!! The food was AMAZING also.
The group of people that we were with was fun and interesting and we had great stories and tips to share, ideal when you are traveling on your own.
I have done farm tours in other countries and this would probably rate at the top.

“A Must Do in Siem reap!”

What a fabulous way to spend a day!! We absolutely loved seeing, doing and engaging in all the activities. Could not fault it on any level. It was a great option other than ‘templeing’ and great to get out of the city a little way. The highlight was the visit to the family and seeing their garden and kitchen, how they lived and especially meeting the beautiful children there (who just love having their photos taken). Would have to be a win-win for all concerned. Well done!
